Col. Brown’s leadership brought discipline, a love for sports, and academic growth to the school. His connections allowed CBS to hold pre-IMA (Indian Military Academy) classes, aligning with the aspirations of many families seeking military and civil service futures for their sons. Under his guidance, the school won the All India Hockey Championship, gaining national acclaim. Col. Brown’s dedication to Indian students continued until his sudden passing on April 18, 1942.

The Tea Gardens of Dalanwala

The Dalanwala area and the surroundings across the Rispana River were once known for tea production, which was popular in North India. Some of these tea gardens still remain on the outskirts of the city, adding to the charm of the school’s location.
